I made a thing.

1.  Individuals are able to stay on their parents’ insurance plans up until age 26.
2. You cannot be denied coverage for preexisting conditions.
3.  All marketplace plans must cover a list of 15 preventative services without charging a copay or coinsurance.
4.  Your coverage cannot be canceled just because you get sick.
5. No more lifetime limits on essential health benefits.
6. No need for referrals for OB-GYN services.
7. Plans cannot require higher copays or coinsurance for emergency care from a hospital that is out of your network.
8.  Insurance companies must spend 80% of money taken in from premiums on health costs.
And so on

I believe the man said “affordable” and caring…not just caring.  All the things you just listed are going to make premiums skyrocket like they are today you bunglehead.

Socialism is a religion, all your facts are subjective to them.

04.: okay, this is SO unlike me to even bring up politics buuuut...

a—bong:

I was checkin’ out healthcare.gov, ya know, wanted to see what it was all about. I will be the first one to admit that I am not well educated in politics, and I don’t understand a whole lot of it.

Maybe I’m missing something here, but I did that Kaiser calculator or whatever, and it is estimating…

"For 2014, the flat fine is $95 per adult and $47.50 per child, up to $285 per family. Or the penalty could be 1% of family income, if that results in a larger fine. (Income is defined as total income above the filing threshold, which is $10,000 for an individual and $20,000 for a family in 2013.)

So a person making $50,000 would be subject to a $400 penalty, while a couple earning that amount would each pay $300.

By 2016, the flat fines grow to $695 per adult and $347.50 per child or 2.5% of family income, whichever is GREATER. By then, the average premium for bronze coverage is expected to hit as much as $5,000 for an individual and $12,500 for a family.”

I STILL CAN NOT FUCKING ACCESS HEALTHCARE.GOV!!!!!
Ok just found out that one does  NOT simply opt out of Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) and pay the fee, which by the way goes up incrementally, fee or percentage of income, which ever is HIGHEST. I thought hey I’m fucking slick, if I have one of these horrific accidents people keep bringing up (like motorcycle accident, slipping on ice, choking on a Big Mac , etc) I’ll pay their shitty little fee and then sign up for O’Care, but NOPE (Chuck Testa) This will not happen as the sign up dates are limited , NOT year round. It’s like when I’m watching Supernatural reruns in the morning , 2 back to back episodes and they have these commercials for old people to “sign up for medicare or medicad” (I don’t know the name nor the spelling and don’t give a big enough fuck to google it) and it tells them to hurry up and sign up before the sign up period is over, well that’s ALL OF US NOW. So looks like this is the New World Order draft card, Obamacare, congrats you’re in the army of insurance company customer now

It’s a punishing people who do not believe in nationalized everything.
